Another petite
sojourn to Paris, this trip slightly longer than last, perhaps the last for quite some time. A magical city, also expensive, dusty, musty and hyper busy when skidding through RER and a half dozen metros with two tasks to be accomplished within a short period of time, alas too dear. The French do love their contact sports, a fact that manifests up and down the escalators and along the conveyor belts throughout Les Halles.
Don't get me wrong, got an awful lot for the price; Catching Greg Proops, live, finally, laughed allot. Stayed overnite in a room with a charming view and most especially spoke with Mme. Sophie Descamps, curator for antiquities Roman@Le Louvre.

Silly, witty, a wise-ass and weirdly adorable.
Prior to my move to Amsterdam I had to drive through a couple of countries, from the Italian Alps, through Bavaria, up to Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, then back again. The only reason it was doable, dare I say enjoyable even, was cuz I had the Proopster podcasts lined up for my listening pleasure.
