Hard not to admire Queen Elizabeth but the Independent reports the Royal Family cost the taxpayer 69p per person last year - an increase of 3p, via Buckingham Palace accounts.
The total cost of keeping the monarchy increased by £1.5 million to £41.5 million during the 2008-09 financial year.
Maybe the Royal family ought to open up more of those Royal residents, like the King of Pop's Neverland. Apparently the beautiful boy's former residence is preparing to transform itself into a public viewing money making machine.
Now the state of California going broke is another different matter. Reading about the special people with needs that will have to do without, is beyond comprehension...I guess this is what happens when you can't just print money...incroyable...
