Quadrant I represents Nice/Competent
Quadrant II represents Asshole/Competent
Quadrant III represents Incompetent/Asshole
Quadrant IV represents Nice/Incompetent
The X axis represents Nice/Asshole, the Y axis represents competent incompetent.
One would love to surround themselves 24/7 by those living within Quadrant I. But life isn't so nice, and, one must factor in additional theory; 2% of the people make stuff happen, 8% are trying to take credit or suing the 2% and 90% are just trying to hang in there, breed, consume and mind their own business.
Obama falls into Quadrant I, obviously, that's why we voted for him and the world expresses such collective glee.
Rahm Emanuel represents Quadrant II, asshole balanced out by 'the velvet-gloved one, but then there aren't many Obama's out there, certainly not for Chief of Staff.
I find it tedious and off the mark for the English to compare Obama with Blair for the simple fact, Blair falls into Quadrant II. Also he was weak, re Murdock, Bush, plus he's a closet evangelical and I've dined more than twice with the guy that fired him from his post as attorney in the private sector.
Palin is Quadrant III,though mio marito thinks McCain falls into Quadrant IV, but because it's my blog I'll state that McCain belongs in Quadrant III.
